Mommy Call was born during my Chief Residency, when I was working on growing my career as a pediatrician and my infant son. It began as a way to capture and explore my personal struggles and triumphs as a doctor mom and became a way to share those with the community of moms who share my experience.
I was born and raised on the Jersey shore, spent five years in NYC for college and as a medical research assistant, and then moved to Philadelphia, where I have stayed for medical school, residency, chief residency, and my medical practice and raising my family. I currently work as an attending physician at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in primary care and adoption medicine.
I love my job. I love my family. I love sharing it with you. Please share your comments with me and enjoy reading Mommy Call!
